It watches what crosses its opening, remembers the objects you carry, and learns what usually belongs with you. Before you leave, it tells you when something important may be missing.

The Alpha is designed to learn from actual use—not a list of “essentials” supplied at setup. Its job is to understand the relationship between your objects, your bag and your departures.

A newly seen item can begin as an unnamed, provisional identity. Across clearer views, Erivaa tries to recognise that same personal object again and may suggest a category such as “wallet.”
After roughly a week of genuine departures, Erivaa looks for recurring objects and combinations in similar situations. Occasional items should remain occasional.
If a frequently carried item is confidently absent before a similar departure, Erivaa can suggest it—and show the observations behind the suggestion.
An important distinction. Recognising “a wallet” is not the same as recognising your wallet. The Alpha aims to build personal visual memory; when two objects look alike or the view is blocked, it should say not sure, not guess.
No RFID tags. No photographing every belonging. No daily packing list. The Alpha observes, builds evidence and becomes more useful as it sees your real routine.
Erivaa notices movements and starts a provisional memory for recurring objects. It avoids claiming readiness before it has enough trustworthy evidence.
Real departure sessions reveal patterns: which items travel together, which are occasional, and when the pattern changes.
A cautious prompt appears only when Erivaa has a learned reason and a sufficiently reliable inventory state. Tap to see why it asked.
The bag observes the item go in and updates the result. If the camera cannot confirm it, the result remains uncertain instead of silently claiming success.
The Alpha’s interface is a simple phone-friendly view. These are example states, not live output or measured results.

If the system loses sight of an object, it should retain uncertainty. “Ready” means all items it has learned to expect are confirmed—not a universal guarantee that nothing has been forgotten.
This page describes the Alpha we are building, not a currently available or validated product. Testing begins only after the core observation and learning loop passes our internal checks.
A camera watches the bag opening. Processing is planned to stay local on the founder-managed Mac; diagnostic recordings, if any, require explicit consent and a clear retention policy before testing. We will explain the setup and privacy terms before anyone participates.
